Phil Lewis

Energy provider

Leaders: do you recognise these signs of low organisational energy?

  • Crucial projects stall or fail

  • Teams working harder but achieving less

  • Ideas falling flat before they’ve had time to take flight

  • Cynicism replacing curiosity

  • A generalised sense of ‘oh god, what now?’ in the ranks

These are all red flags, warning of a systemic energy deficit. Organisations aren’t made of metal, so they hit problems if they’re run along machine principles and not organic ones. They’re living systems with rhythms, cycles… and limits.

Think people, not parts

The good news is that low organisational energy can be revitalised. If you mend the metabolism, you release the energy. And that’s Phil’s specialism. He works with senior leaders to unblock energy at a systemic level. His work helps organisations recover momentum, rebuild belief and move forward together.

Phil’s keynotes are a lively and empowering experience that take an experiential approach to reframing energy not as a matter of personal wellbeing, but as a core organisational asset.

These sessions are ideal for Board meetings, senior leadership events and leadership development programmes that are looking to help an organisation shift gear or raise its game.

Full-day Energy session

An invigorating day that gets into the fundamentals of organisational energy, personalised to your organisation. Work through a diagnostic framework to pinpoint energy blockages that are slowing progress.

Topics

You can’t tighten bolts on culture. High-performing organisations are not fuelled by fear, top-down or distended hours. Like people, they run on energy, and that energy can be enhanced (or depleted) at a systemic level as well as individually.

Phil’s primary focus is on the power and potential of organisational energy, and his chosen topics all speak to this. Within that, there are three alternative angles to engage with the subject:

Regaining balance

Mergers, acquisitions, restructures, changes in leadership: events like these can create disquiet, disrupt team dynamics and slow progress. Discover tactics that help you to regain control and restore balance to businesses undergoing complicated change.

Recovering optimism

Change fatigue, churning cycles of strategy and unresolved conflict can drain the energy from your people and your organisation. But energy doesn’t simply disappear. It hits blockages, failing to reach the parts that need fuel to operate well. Energy Sessions show you where those barriers are, and how to dissolve them. So you can begin to restore the belief that progress is possible.

Building high-energy cultures

Culture is the central nervous system of a business. Like the human central nervous system, a healthy culture regulates responses, deals with changes and enables development. Discover the attributes of a high-energy, high-performing culture and find out how augmenting different cultural attributes can help your team thrive.
