Biography

As well as a resilience and performance coach, Sarah Knight is a trainer, facilitator and workplace culture consultant with over two decades of experience. Her career is been dedicated to enabling individuals and organisations to develop successful mind-sets and embed positive behaviours for change.

Sarah began her professional journey in PR and marketing, founding her own consultancy while navigating the challenges of pregnancy and new motherhood. It was a crash course in balancing work and life! These personal and professional experiences shaped her approach, combining lived-in wisdom with evidence-based strategies to cultivate resilience, growth, and a pragmatic, "crack on" attitude.

Sarah’s signature strength lies in making complex performance psychology relatable and easy to understand. Her philosophy is that investing in mind-set behaviours and habits is the cornerstone of achieving professional success and life satisfaction.

Sarah hosts It’s Got Pockets, a podcast for women in business who want straight-talking conversations, not filtered soundbites. She talks leadership, energy, mindset, and all the stuff no one tells you when you’re “successful” but secretly exhausted.

Sarah has also co-founded The Plot Twist awards because myself and my co-founder were frankly bored and very irritated of seeing the same old success stories. The Plot Twist Awards are the real celebrations; the stories where the best stories start in the middle, where the women who are navigating the life load, the emotional load, the overwhelm and the second guessing are nailing it whilst holding the sky up too.

Sarah trains, coaches facilitates and speaks — always with the same mission:

To help people lead themselves better, so they can lead everything else with more impact, more energy, and a hell of a lot more joy. With over 20 years’ experience, Sarah brings bold insights, straight-talking strategies and a powerful mix of science and storytelling to every room she walks into

Featured in Forbes and widely sought after on the conference circuit, Sarah continues to champion human-centred workplace cultures. Her commitment to bridging the skills gap and fostering resilience ensures her impact extends far beyond the room.

Feedback

“If you're looking for a lively and engaging speaker to work with you and your team, then look no further than Sarah. Sarah ran a super online event for the PRCA with PR leaders across the north of England, exploring how we manage the stress levels of the people in our care as well as importantly, our own stress levels. She is a natural and eloquent communicator, who puts the audience at ease and manages to encourage them to participate in the sessions (which is an especially hard task when online!). Sarah has extensive knowledge of nurturing staff, developing skills, exploring their wellbeing, and evolving cultures with organisations - which I'd say are vitally important areas for any business to focus on in 2021.”
