Biography

Dan Sodergren is a founder, writer, trainer and speaker with twenty years’ experience telling stories about the impact of technology on life and work. He is a frequent face on TV and voice on radio, contributing to major shows on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5.

Dan loves to experiment with technologies and the opportunities they bring, turning theories into reality. Most recently he has been an early adopter of AI technologies, using them to write a book, build social media campaigns, and to improve workforces with his start-up tech firm, YourFLOCK.

Dan has a career-spanning enthusiasm for helping people to make work rewarding, as entrepreneurs, leaders or managers. He brings enormous energy to every event, whether in person or down the line.

Dan Sodergren’s larger than life personality has been in demand from brands, event organisers and broadcasters for twenty years. From early appearances talking about technology and dating on regional TV, he built a profile on national media as a go-to expert on any question about the intersection of technology, life and work, whether it was consumer tech, telecoms, or even dating!

Today his primary focus is the future of work, as companies continue to wrestle with the long term impact and the changed social contract created by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Dan is perhaps most recognised as a regular contributor to major BBC shows. He has been a regular reviewer of the newspapers on BBC Breakfast, and offered expert insight on Watchdog, The One Show, and Rip-Off Britain. But Dan’s appearances are not limited to the BBC - he has also contributed to shows across ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5, as well as many national and local radio stations.

“Dan was our opening keynote for the IoIC Festival 2022. From our first interactions with Dan we knew he would be a fantastic speaker, he took time to understand both our brief and the audience. His keynote was engaging, compelling and humorous. In the Festival Goers feedback survey, Dan's keynote appears many, many times in the question 'which session did you enjoy the most.' I would recommend Dan as a keynote and hope we get to work together again in the future.”
