Sophie Lee is a storyteller whose work sits at the intersection of voice, visibility, and self-expression. She helps people and organisations find the courage to speak with clarity, communicate with impact, and show up as their fullest selves, both in life and at work.
A former journalist turned communications strategist, Sophie has spent over a decade helping individuals, teams, and leaders express complex ideas in ways that move people to action. Her unique approach draws on storytelling, somatic awareness, and lived experience, guiding audiences to reconnect with their voice, not just as a communication tool, but as a pathway to confidence, agency, and power.
Sophie’s talks explore the tender and transformative process of being seen. She invites audiences to consider how fear, social conditioning, and self-protection often keep us small and what becomes possible when we reclaim our authentic expression. Her work blends practical communication insight with personal reflection, helping people bridge the gap between how they think they need to show up and who they really are.
Her debut book, Beyond Palatable: A Manifesto for Unapologetic Women will be published by Luath Press on the 8th March. It is a raw and resonant exploration of self-expression, healing, and the reclaiming of voice. Drawing on her own journey of shrinking and self-abandonment — and the slow, powerful process of taking up space again — Sophie invites readers to challenge the stories and systems that teach us to dilute ourselves to fit in.
Whether she’s speaking to leaders, founders, or creative professionals, Sophie’s presence is both grounding and galvanising. She has an uncanny ability to articulate the truths people feel but rarely name, sparking moments of deep recognition and change.
