Biography

Lauren Paton spent twenty years inside some of the world's biggest brands - Amazon, Audible, Disney - leading multi-million-pound campaigns, scaling teams by 300%, and breaking records across global markets. She knows what it costs to perform your way to the top. She also knows it doesn't have to be that way.

She is now the founder of scout+circle, working with organisations including EY, Eurostar, Monzo and Puma to deprogramme the conditioning that keeps talented women stuck, overlooked, and quietly exhausted by the game they're being asked to play. Her private clients are directors, VPs and senior leaders across tech, finance and media. 90% are in a better role or promoted within six months.

Her keynotes and workshops don't ask women to fix themselves for systems that were never built for them. They go to the root: the beliefs that were installed before women ever stepped into a boardroom, and what becomes possible when those beliefs are removed. Her keynote arc, The 4Rs — Revelation, Rage, Release, Reclaim — takes a room from recognition to rebellion in under an hour.

Lauren is the 6th Top Rated Speaker in the UK, a LinkedIn Top Voice for Gender Equity with an audience of over 10,000, and hosts the podcast A Woman in a Man's World. She has a reputation, as she'd put it, for saying the quiet part out loud.

Her work is for leadership and L&D teams building a gender-diverse pipeline that actually performs, and for the women who are done waiting to be chosen.

Building a Personal Brand That Feels Like You (Not Everyone Else)

Stop being a best-kept secret. You're working hard. You're delivering. But somehow, the recognition - the promotions, the opportunities, the seat at the table - isn't keeping pace. Sound familiar? The problem usually isn't performance. It's visibility. In this interactive keynote, Lauren explores why so many talented women stay under the radar, what's really holding them back from self-promoting, and how to start showing up in a way that feels authentic rather than exhausting.

You First - The Real Work of Leadership Under Pressure

Leadership doesn't look like it does on LinkedIn. This is about the real work that drives better results: managing your team through uncertainty, leading when you're also doubting yourself, and ensuring that you’re actually focusing on looking after yourself and your nervous system.

Busting the Imposter Syndrome Myth - You Don't Need Confidence. You Need This Instead

Imposter syndrome isn’t a personal flaw; it’s a system failure. Lauren unpacks why smart, capable women keep questioning themselves, and why traditional “confidence” advice misses the mark. This talk is a bold reframe that centres belonging, identity, and power, not fake-it-til-you-make-it fluff. Expect truth bombs, resonance and big change.

Authenticity - Your Leadership SuperPower

Too many women are waiting for their brilliance to be noticed - when what’s actually happening is they’re hiding. Lauren speaks to the cost of wearing masks to fit in, and the liberation that comes when you stop contorting and start claiming. Authenticity isn’t a fluffy buzzword; it’s a strategic leadership tool. And it’s how the right people know how to follow you. Perfect for International Women’s Day and women’s leadership keynotes.

Break Both Rules -Why women need to embrace AI and own their leadership edge

Women in technical fields are holding back from the one tool that could accelerate everything they do — and simultaneously underselling the skills that the AI era is confirming are the most valuable. This talk breaks both rules: the rule that says AI isn't for you, and the rule that says your human leadership skills don't count as serious currency. Women who get both right won't just be keeping up. They'll be powering ahead.
