Biography
- Ant is a Futurist and the former Head of Innovation at Virgin Media O2, working closely with the boards of a wide range of UK & Global organisations, providing thought leadership and guidance to help businesses better understand and evaluate new innovative technologies, and their wider societal impacts and transformations in our ever-evolving digital world.
- Sitting on a number of governance boards and advisory committees globally, Ant leads a number of research projects, focused on the progressions of technologies including: AI, Machine Learning, Data Insights, Spatial Analytics, IoT, AR, VR & XR developments in areas such as Digital Inclusion, Education, Health & Smart Cities
- Bringing his years of research and study together, Ant has published his findings in his first book ‘The Future of Us’ which explores the trends & changes underway and the impacts on us all over the years ahead. Providing advice to individuals and orgnanisation on how we can stay relevant & informed in the future.
- Ant is the Chair of Virgin Media O2's Customer Innovation Forum, one of the biggest in the industry with over 120 c-suite executive members. Coming together 8 times a year to discuss the real challenges and opportunities we face ahead as technologies and new attitudes transform our industries and organisations.
- Ants real passion lies in the topic of 'technology for good' where his pro-bono work has seen him launch some of the biggest enterprise and charity collaborations in the industry. Working closely with NSPCC and the RNIB to improve online safety for children and parents, and to help reduce the digital divide allowing young people with sight loss access to technology for education, work and social interaction.
- Ant is a trustee on the board of the Birtenshaw Organisation. A charity providing a range of educational support services to children and young adults, with disabilities and special educational needs.

Evolving digital technologies & the COVID-19 pandemic have completely changed the ways we live and work forever. This time will go down in history as the driving force of a period of rapid technological and societal transformation that otherwise would have taken decades to realise. Global lockdowns and home working rapidly accelerated our adoption of technology and every generation needed to embrace digital solutions such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams to work, shop, and stay in touch. Although for many, it’s only the very start of our digital journeys, we’d be hard-pressed to find a single person, business, or industry not impacted by digital transformation in some way.The question is, do we fully understand the digital world we now live in?
