Ant Morse helps organisations understand the fast-paced world of new technologies. Demystifying the jargon and clearly explaining what new technologies are, what they do, and how they may impact our lives, society and the wider economic landscapes today and over years ahead.

 

Biography

Ant is a Futurist and the Head of Innovation at Virgin Media O2, working closely with the boards of a wide range of UK & Global organisations, providing thought leadership and guidance to help businesses better understand and evaluate new innovative technologies, and their wider societal impacts and transformations in our ever-evolving digital world.

Ant’s real passion lies in the topic of 'technology for good', where his pro-bono work has seen him launch some of the biggest enterprise and charity collaborations in the industry. Working closely with NSPCC and the RNIB to improve online safety for children and parents, and to help reduce the digital divide, allowing young people with sight loss access to technology for education, work and social interaction.

Ant is the Chair of Virgin Media O2's Customer Innovation Forum, one of the biggest in the industry, with over 120 C-suite executive members. Coming together 8 times a year to discuss the real challenges and opportunities we face ahead as technologies and new attitudes transform our industries and organisations.

Sitting on a number of governance boards and advisory committees globally, Ant leads several research projects, focused on the progressions of technologies including: AI, Machine Learning, Data Insights, Spatial Analytics, IoT, AR, VR & XR developments in areas such as Digital Inclusion, Education, Health & Smart Cities.

Outside of VMO2Ant, is a trustee on the board of the Birtenshaw Organisation. A charity providing a range of educational support services to children and young adults with disabilities and special educational needs.
